Altum Angels Fish

The Altum Angels Fish (Pterophyllum altum) is a truly captivating species that stands out for its majestic appearance and graceful swimming. This species thrives in soft, slightly acidic water with temperatures ranging from 79-86°F. They are known for their peaceful demeanor, making them a compatible addition to community tanks, particularly with other non-aggressive species. However, they do best in schools of five or more and require ample swimming space and hiding spots among plants or driftwood.
